This past weekend, on the 18th and 19th of November, MPS Penang teamed up with Lions Club Of Georgetown City for not one, but two impactful Public Health Screening and Diabetes Awareness drives! š„āØ
Our dedicated team of over 30 MPS Penang members volunteered their time and expertise to make a difference in the local communities. At Dewan Noordin, Pengkalan Kota, and Phor Tay Private High School, Pulau Tikus, we conducted a range of crucial health checks, including Blood Glucose Tests, Total Cholesterol Tests, BMI checks, Heart Rhythm screenings, and provided general consultations to address health-related queries.
Pharmacists play a vital role in community health, actively working to elevate health statuses and contribute to a healthier society. Our commitment to these initiatives reflects our belief in the power of preventive care and community education. By actively engaging in health screenings and awareness campaigns, we aim to empower individuals to take control of their well-being and make informed decisions about their health.
Heartfelt gratitude to Pfizer Malaysia for their generous support in providing the necessary equipment and tools for the drive. Together, we are making a positive impact on the health and well-being of our communities.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and expertise, and to our partners for making these events a success! šš
